A very relaxing and fun time, has wifi and great beds. I had a great time meeting people from around the world. The owners brother or cousin (I can't remember) also has horses about a mile or 2 west, costs about 45$ it is a lot of fun. The ranch is near the river where you can walk down and look at, be careful when doing that it has a cliff in some parts. Has an AMAZING breakfast and has a small kitchen in the main house upstairs for lunch and dinner. has an old piano that I enjoyed playing and a game room that has fusball, ping pong and a multi-arcade game. I highly recommend staying here!
The place was laid out by a man. The Coyboy Cottage did not have the sewer vented properly, no vent stack, and therefore, every room stunk. This is a remodeled garage with great opportunity for design and they came up with this mess ... Oh well it is functional.
Incredible views of the badlands from on top the hill. Great family-run operation with everyone including the kids pitching in. Breakfast was great. Beds very comfortable.
This is a working cattle ranch with chickens and other assorted animals. The kids can feed chickens and bottle feed a calf. It is kind of a cross between a b and b and hostel. There is a kitchen to use and a game room. Most Lodgers hang in the common room and come from all over. The breakfast in the morning is wonderful. There is also horseback riding with Marshall their nephew on the next ranch over who is a great guy. You ride the range in the Badlands. Several in the group had not ever been on a horse and he was very patient.I The stars are amazing. This is a great experience. Do not miss it.
Wish we could have stayed longer. We were only there a half day and overnight but enjoyed every minute. Owners are wonderful, made us feel at home. We fed a bottle to a calf, gave carrots to donkeys and fed the chickens the scraps from breakfast. Speaking of breakfast it was also fantastic.
